DLC Quest is worth your time and money.
DLC Quest was released on Xbox 360 and PC late last year, so it's probably a little late to be reporting on it. Oh well. For those who aren't familiar with the concept, DLC Quest is a game that satirises the current trend of downloadable content in videogames, and considers 'What happens when DLC practices go too far?' The game does this by forcing you to buy DLC with in-game currency that unlocks key game elements such as a pause function, the ability to run left and character animation. Clever satire aside, this actually works really well as a mechanic for unlocking new abilities that allow you to access new areas and progress further toward your eventual goal of saving the Princess from the nondescript 'Bad Guy'. If I was forced to find a criticism for the game it would be that it is incredibly short, with a playtime of around 30 minutes. However, considering the game's £1.49 price tag, it seems incredibly ungrateful to complain about the game's longevity considering the amount of time and love that must have been poured into the game by it's one-man developer. To put things into perspective, it'll last you longer than a sandwich from the Co-op, and they cost over £2.00! Shocking, eh?

Sony unveils completely original new game
I know Matt usually handles the news stuff, but I figured I'd beat him to the punch! Heh, semi-pun unintended.
Oh my! There have been various leaks and teasers for this, but Sony have finally fully announced their new (and brilliantly original) brawler, Playstation All-Stars: Battle Royal. Along with the announcement came this trailer:
My opinions on it after the jump:

Playstation Move owners get some love in May
By the looks of things, the merry month of May will produce two very good reasons for gamers to dust off their Playstation Move controllers. Ethereal, artsy first-person adventure title, Datura is rumoured to be hitting the European Store on May 9th. It features impressive 1:1 motion tracking and a weird forest setting. There's also a pig.

Indie Developer Interview Number 11: Black Lab Games
For the eleventh interview in the series, I fired some questions over to Paul Turbett of Black Lab Games, creator of turn-based strategy game, Star Hammer Tactics. The game is available for iPhone, iPad, PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PSVita and PSP, meaning that the game is pretty much available to everyone, and I would strongly reccommend anyone with access to any of these platforms to give it a go. Anyway, to the questions!

Some bloke's ripped off Limbo.
Upcoming XBLIG and PC platformer Evaporated has a suspicious amount in common with Playdead's cult favourite indie title Limbo. Technically, the game looks rather impressive considering the fact it is developed by one man, however it seems to lack imagination. The game has the same monochromatic visual style as Limbo, and puts you in control of a small boy with glowing eyes who must avoid all kinds of horrid obstacles such as bear traps and spikes. Seriously. You can see the blatant similarities yourself below.

Like Game Boy? Here's AXRIA Retro World!
Here's an interesting platformer made in the black and white 8-bit style of the original Game Boy. It's a free download. Worth a go, right?

Podcast 8!
The 8th GS podcast it out now!
It's an experimental 2-man podcast, due to various issues (Issues that can be summed up with "Stoph is a complete dick").
Luckily it still turned out as good as usual. Get it here!
Also, there's a chance that we'll be doing a podcast with the full GS crew next week! (And by 'week' we actually mean week, for once.)
Oh, and this podcast was recorded just before Bioware anounced their DLC which will "expand" on the current ending. This seems to pretty much disprove Indoctrination Theory, so I guess it did turn out to be "just the stupidest coincidence ever".
