Playstation Move owners get some love in May

By the looks of things, the merry month of May will produce two very good reasons for gamers to dust off their Playstation Move controllers. Ethereal, artsy first-person adventure title, Datura is rumoured to be hitting the European Store on May 9th. It features impressive 1:1 motion tracking and a weird forest setting. There's also a pig.

On the other end of the gaming spectrum there is Sorcery, the long-awaited 3rd-person magic-'em-up with a confirmed May 23rd release date. It's been getting pretty positive preview coverage in the gaming press, and is the game that has the scope and ambition to finally tap into the Move technology's 'hardcore' potential.

It's about time, I reckon. After all, sales of Playstation Move were actually fairly strong, and we've hardly been inundated with games to use it with. Admittedly, a few good titles is better than a sea of shovelware, but the lack of games is sure to make Playstation Move owners feel a little ripped-off. If these two games prove successful, it could lead to a resurgence of interest in the Move, and in turn the development of more quality titles for Sony's glowing wand. That'd be nice, wouldn't it?
