The Kickstarter trend continues: Wasteland 2 reaches its goal.

Following the hugely successful Kickstarter campaign for Tim Schafer's Double Fine Adventure, inXile Entertainment are using the funding platform to produce a sequel to their 1988 post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland. According to the Kickstarter page, 'The original Wasteland was the inspiration for the FALLOUT series of games, and the first RPG to allow players to split parties for tactical considerations, to face players with moral choices, and to make them deal with the consequences of their actions.' At the time of writing, the game has achieved $1,058,148, already beating its $900,000 target with 32 days left to go.
