hermitgames announce new project - impossible to pronounce, impossible to define.
Leave Home creator Matt James, aka hermitgames, has revealed his new game. It's called 'qrth-phyl' and, according to the hermitgames website is an 'Arcade documentary of maze/dot/snake mechanic within changing dimensions, axis locks and the corruption of the system'. In our pre-reveal interview, he also said that 'It's less of an obvious genre game than Leave Home' and that he's deliberately made the game more 'difficult and awkward' than LH. My first impressions are that it sounds utterly bewildering, and that Matt James must really hate money, however coming from the guy who made Leave Home a certain quality of presentation and gameplay polish is guaranteed. He's released some screenshots too, three of which you can see below.
